Aspirational India

Contemplating on what I discussed with a friend over a conversation, I think its more clear to me now how India is more aspirational than than this part of the world. She said while this part of the world might be more ambitious but clearly india is more aspirational. This was confirmed to me by a video that I saw y'day where as part of a school program- children after school have been teaching children who cant afford an education. On being asked, a girl whose barely in the 8th grade, said that she wants to be a physics teacher.To which this host from the UK is amazed by how the youth dont aspire to be a glam doll or an actress but have concrete ambitions.Just reaffirmed the conversation I had with my friend.
